Hello guys, kali ini kita akan sharing tentang kegiatan siswa Bahasa Inggris. Di Program Speakout atau Kursus bahasa inggris itu ada kegiatan ekstrakurrikuler yang selalu diadakan setiap bulannya. Nah kebetulan di bulan April ini, tepatnya pada tanggal 14 april 2022 kami mengadakan English Club. Ada 4 orang yang bergabung dalam English Club yaitu Fina, Fatia, Aldita, dan Icha. Kami belajar reading. Siswa diminta untuk membaca sebuah teks. Teks tersebut berjudul “The obstacle in our path”.

Once upon times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. A king hid himself and saw if anyone would move the boulder out of the way. The king’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers came to walked around it. People blamed the King. They ask the king for not keeping the roads, but nothing did anything to get the stone out of the way. A peasant then came to carry vegetables. When a peasant approached the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and pushed the stone to the road. After a peasant pushed and strained, he finally succeeded. After the peasant came back to pick up the vegetables, he got a purse in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained a note and gold coins. It was gotten from the King explaining that the gold was for the person. It is removed the boulder from the roadway.
Disini kita belajar banyak kosakata baru, dan siswa juga menceritakan kembali tentang isi teks untuk memahami bacaan pada teks tersebut. Ini adalah dokumentasi saat pelaksanaan English club.
